Thank you for all of the well wishes - it's great to be back at school!
Today was a whirlwind. We worked so well and were so focused. We started by talking about Book Clubs. We'll start those tomorrow, now that the administrative things are out of the way. Our books this time around are all environment themed, to match with our Waste and Our World Science unit. We talked about the Problem of the Week in math - we have set out Monday mornings to begin working on those, then continue the rest of the week. In the afternoon, we continued to talk about Alberta's physical regions. Today was Parkland...not the community, but the region. Tomorrow is the Rocky Mountains! Parent-Teacher Conferences are next week. Thursday, October 22 from 4-8pm and Friday, October 23 from 8-1pm. Please follow this link to book your conference: Parent-Teacher Conferences.
