Question of the night: what is your favourite animal? What do you think would be funny for that animal to do...the weirder, the better!
Wow, december already, and the countdown is on! We started this morning with PE, then moved right into a circle. In our circle, we talked about what makes us upset, how we feel about being upset, and what do we do when we're upset. Not necessarily what we should do when we're upset, but what we actually do. We also discussed a new character we're going to create. Our first two traits about this character are: 1) it's our favourite animal, and 2) its favourite activity is something that is unconventional for that animal. For example, a wombat that plays the banjo. We'll be using these characters next week. We also watched a friday flick about animals and their ability to problem solve. We were watching this flick as junior scientists, and had to understand that scientists must design tests that are "fair" and keep track of their results. We ended the day by doing our grade 4 duty of recycling. Have a great weekend! ____________________________________________________ The POWerful Book Club will be meeting at lunch on Tuesday December 5. Student’s should bring their lunch and their book.
