Question of the night: Tell us about your story robe. What's one family tradition that you think is unique to your family?
Wow, 1 week left before our break. We started talking about celebrations and traditions from around the world, especially here in Alberta. We linked this to our own family traditions, which we then documented on a "story Robe", similar to the aboriginals. We'll continue on it this week. We continued to work on our lego mindstorms this morning. Students have been extremely focused while collecting inventory for their bots. Most have started building, and some have started programming. We'll discuss some challenges tomorrow. In the afternoon, we did some caroling in the gym, then science, then danced away in PE. Ms. Mosher taught us some tap, and TD did an incredible Irish Dancing routine. Keep warm. PS. Don't forget pajama day on Thursday and our class celebration on Friday. ____________________________________________________ Hi, It’s the GIVE power hour. Please bring all items to Mrs. McKay’s room by Wednesday December 14th. Thanks for helping to make a difference this holiday season. ____________________________________________________ Canstruction Club is looking for non-perishable donations to build our structure next Thursday. It is called the 'Green Cantern’ based on the superhero the Green Lantern. We’re collecting green items such as cans and boxes for this! Please drop off any items to the Idea Lab.
