Question of the night: What do you think scientists mean by the term "mirror image"?
Welcome back! We began the day with a few builders of Alberta presentation. We will continue with those tomorrow, so please ensure that you are finished. You must work on it at home, though. We learned lots about James Macleod, William Aberhart, Guy Weadick, and Nellie McClung today. We began our health unit this morning. Most of our conversations will revolve around changes that take place during puberty. These can be body changes, relationship changes, and thought changes. We started to talk about some of the great things about puberty and some of the more difficult or tough things. Homework Alert: Students are to have an "interview" with a trusted adult tonight. Please sign it and bring it back tomorrow. We very briefly worked on division today. We'll continue tomorrow. In the afternoon, we focused on reflection v. Refraction. We worked with mirrors and proved that reflected images are "backwards". We then tried to use multiple mirrors to get the reflected image to go the "right' way. Oh, and we also studied refraction too, and noticed the difference between these two concepts. Field trip forms went home today. Sorry for the tardiness. ____________________________________________________ Important Dates:
