Question of the night: what did you work on in your minecraft community today?
T-2 days... And our last week at school is off with a bang. We started today by finishing off a few more builders of Alberta Presentations. We learned all about Sam Livingston, William Aberhart, and David Thompson today. We're down to our last few. We also worked on our very own petroglyphs this morning. THey each tell a story about ourselves, and they do not use any written language. We will continue to carve them tomorrow. I think we have more appreciation for how difficult it must have been to record history on stone... In the afternoon, we began working on our last culminating project. In minecraft, we are building a community, making sure to pull together all of our knowledge of what communities need. I wonder if some of these separate communities will grow together into one?? Have a good night. ____________________________________________________ Butterscotch the Guinea Pig Room 3's classroom guinea pig, Butterscotch, is looking for a place (or places) to live over the summer! If you and your family would be able and willing to take her (even if for just a week!) please email Miss Gilbank at [email protected] with the dates that you would be available to house her! She is a lovely, kind guinea pig, and has very much grown in our class's hearts this year! Thank you! ____________________________________________________ Important Dates:
