Question of the night: If you could have anything in your backyard, what would it be?
Welcome back! Today we spent part of the morning focusing our attention on another See, Think, Wonder prompt. It is attached at the end of this post. Moving forward, we'll likely work on some see, Think, Wonders that are within the disciplines, like science, for example. In the morning, we also used our platform as recycling experts to teach other classes about proper recycling etiquette at Prince of Wales. We each went to either a grade 1, 2, or 3 class to share our knowledge. We'll keep track of how recycling is going over the next few weeks. In the afternoon, we worked on lowercase "w" in cursive handwriting, then moved onto a new math project. We're acting as junior landscapers to design Mr. V's backyard, complete with play area, garden, and deck. We'll be using our multiplication skills to figure out each feature's area and perimeter. Have a great night. ____________________________________________________ Dec. 4 – 15 Mayor’s Christmas Food Drive This year will be the 29th annual food drive to support the Calgary Food Bank. ____________________________________________________ Important Dates:
