Question of the night: How could you estimate how much candy you collected today? About how much did you get?
Happy Halloween! This morning, we continued to work on our Remembrance Day songs. Ms. B also began to teach us about different poetry styles. She started with an acrostic poem this morning, and will continue for the rest of this week. We'll create a "poetry Wall" in the classroom, then we're going to use poetry to show off our understanding of Geography. That's the goal! We also completed a few halloween themed drawings today, from a mummy and werewolf to Jack Skellington. In the afternoon, we got together with our Kindie buddies for the first time, then watched some spooky stories. We also ate some delicious foods, including an amazing minion cake by CK. Be safe tonight. We'll see you tomorrow. _____________________________________________________ A message from Mrs. McKay's Power Hour Dear Students and family members of Prince of Wales school, Mrs. McKay’s POWer hour is all about giving back and helping other. I would see how much space 10 pieces makes and then estimate how many stacks of 10. I think I had 10 piles of 10 which equals 💯 Maybe more...
