Question of the night: Name one thing you have in common with Gilber (the farmer in Peru) or Viviana (the girl that lives in Lima).
A really fun day! We started with some music with Mrs. Dennill. I understand we have some "performances" scheduled for next week in music. In the morning, we continued to talk about communities. We specifically focused on rural v. urban today, and watched two videos that were based in Peru. One video focused on Viviana's life in Lima, Peru, while another focused on Gilber's life in rural peru. We completed a venn diagram to compare and contrast these two videos. After recess, we played a game that helped with our basic facts. You gotta be quick to win this game. The link is here, if you want to play on your own: Basic Facts. After lunch, we finally got a chance to challenge each other with our symmetry projects in minecraft. Some of us have a great eye for detail! Please don't forget your helmets and socks tomorrow. We're going to see aliens again at 9:30am, at least that's what I am predicting. Bye for now. ____________________________________________________ Alien Inline - June 5-19: HELMETS & HYGIENE: Alien In-Line provides certified helmets, but for best hygiene and comfort we suggest that each participant bring in his or her own certified helmet.
