Question of the night: What did you work on in our community challenge today?
T-4 days left... This morning, we had had music with Mrs. Dennill, where we performed our latest musical creations. After music, we had a great time playing multiplication squares, where we have a new record: 52 squares in 40 minutes. Anyone care to beat that? Congratulations to our current record holder, CM. After enjoying a windy and chilly recess outside, we again worked on our living off the land experiment. Before embarking on our journey, we had a class-wide conversation on what makes a successful community. We talked about how the success of our community is only guaranteed if EVERYONE has food, water, and shelter. Some of our community members started to build a community food & Supplies "Bank", where people could come and take what they need and donate extra materials. It has been amazing to see how our community members' attitudes have changed towards one another. We'll continue next week. We said goodbye to EZ today, as he's heading to China for a visit. Enjoy!! Have a great night! ____________________________________________________ Power Hour April 2017 Grades 1 & 2 -- http://studio.code.org/sections/CTPSWY Grades 3 - 6 -- http://studio.code.org/sections/MJMFRV ____________________________________________________ Reminders:
