Question of the night: What did you find most interesting about the Roman video today?
Wow, now that was a full day of learning! We started the day with some math work, specifically looking at exchanging and borrowing ofr subtraction. We explored some cusinarie rods and played a bit of a trading game. We'll do that again next week. After that, we had 4 family background presentations. They were great, again! The rest of the morning, we explored some d2L and website links to do with simple machines and structures. In the afternoon, we watched another NOVa program. This one was about the roman colosseum, and focused alot on its construction and use of simple machines. The romans really were masters of construction! St Patrick's Day is tomorrow. Don't forget to wear green. I won't be here, and hopefully those pesky leprechauns will stay away, too!! Have a good night and weekend... ____________________________________________________ Walking Wednesday Any students who walk, ride, bike to school on Wednesday will be entered for a prize. ____________________________________________________ Power Hour January 2017 Camel Group -- https://studio.code.org/sections/DYTPMD Lion Group -- https://studio.code.org/sections/DSBGDD ____________________________________________________ Reminders:
