Question of the night: Can you find any words in the english language that have 2 w's beside each other?
Hello. Wow, a great day of thinking. We went to the idea lab this morning, where we read the book, "What do you do with a problem?". We then went to room 10 to ask questions about a problem they've been having: Shadow, the bunny, loves to go out of the classroom to explore, but that can be a bit dangerous for it. So, we need to design something that will allow room 10 to keep its doors open, but not let Shadow wander the school. Talk to someone in your house about this problem, and perhaps talk about the solutions you found. Our flexible math groups are going well. Please ask your child what they learned today, and how it's going, then pass on that info to Mr. V. In the afternoon, we learned to handwrite the letter "w", which is a bit tricky since it ends in the middle of the page, just like a "b". We then worked on a new tool called "No Red Ink", where Mr. V is able to assign you work based on certain language arts topics (e.g. nouns). We'll use that every week to master some of the rules of writing. Tomorrow is Friday...need I say more? Have a good night! _____________________________________________________ A message about photos The picture day order forms are due in the office tomorrow, October 19.
