Book Clubs went very well this morning. After meeting with our teams, we watched a video about how Edmonton is attempting to divert waste from the landfills. We focused on its efforts to turn waste into Bio-Fuels. The video is on our website, under Waste and our World.
We also explored number concepts this morning, focusing on place value and understanding the relationships between numbers. We used many resources that are linked on our website, under math --> Understanding Numbers. This afternoon, we focused on our service project, and continued to make cards which will be sold at the Halloween Family Dance. All proceeds go to Unicef. There is no school tomorrow. Have a nice weekend! Go Jays!! __________________________________________________ Link for PoWer Hour Students:: http://studio.code.org/sections/sgkjcx __________________________________________________ Parent-Teacher Conferences are this week - Thursday, October 22 from 4-8pm and Friday, October 23 from 8-1pm.
