Question of the night: Please complete the following sentence, "Cross the line if..."
Wow, a great day of learning about ourselves. We read the book, "Whoever you are," by Mem Fox. This book is a great look into the fact that we are all different, but we have many more things that make us similar than sets us apart. We then worked on an activity called "Cross the Line". This was a great practice for our Pink Shirt Day assembly. For the rest of the morning, we worked on our basic addition facts using our cusinaire trading game. We'll continue this week. After recess, we continued to work with our grade 4 friends on our writing prompts. We first worked on brainstorming small problems with small solutions. We continue tomorrow. In the afternoon, we visited with Mrs. Dennill, then Mrs. Cornford, then had another session of cross the line. Overall, we really learned about ourselves and each other. Bye for now. ____________________________________________________ Grade 3 Art Request The Grade 3s at Prince of Wales are in need of Pringles chips cans with lids.
