Question of the night: what does "fair" mean in math?
We began the day in our writing clubs. It's likely that these were our last meetings together, and some of Mr. V's group were ready to present their research findings. After writing groups, it was right into health. We again talked about the many changes that take place during puberty, and how most of these changes are the same for both boys and girls. Some changes, of course, apply only for boys, while some others apply only to girls. We watched a couple of videos to re-enforce those points. In math, we continued to look at division, and paid particular emphasis on using base-10 blocks to help with division. Don't worry, long division is coming soon! In the afternoon, we visited with Mrs. Dennill, then worked on our "Historicalgary" work. Most of us started building in minecraft. During our trip tomorrow, we will have the opportunity to visit most of our historical buildings, especially the ones that are around city hall and stephen avenue. Please remember your field trip forms! ____________________________________________________ Important Dates:
