Question of the night: Have a fantastic summer. Be safe!
Happy last day of school. we've made it! Thank you for an amazing year, grade 4s. It was great to teach and learn together with all of you. Enjoy your summer! We continued with our learning today. We started with finishing off a few of our builders of Alberta presentations. We learned a bit about Louise McKinney and Chief David Crowchild. We also spent some time this morning in our minecraft communities. We brainstormed some key features of communities, and made sure to incorporate those features in each of our communities. To end of the day, and the year, we watched the movie "On the Edge of Destruction: the Frank Slide Story". Some of us were already experts on Frank Slide, since we read some books on the subject during book clubs. What an amazing story! Oh, and by the way, the OH Stampede ranch will be open to the public for one day on August 18th from 10-4pm as part of Alberta Open Farm Day. This is a great chance to explore Alberta's ranching history. Report Cards went home today. Please contact me with any questions... Have a great summer. ____________________________________________________ Butterscotch the Guinea Pig Room 3's classroom guinea pig, Butterscotch, is looking for a place (or places) to live over the summer! If you and your family would be able and willing to take her (even if for just a week!) please email Miss Gilbank at [email protected] with the dates that you would be available to house her! She is a lovely, kind guinea pig, and has very much grown in our class's hearts this year! Thank you!
