Question of the night: If you could name one of the ducklings, what would it be and why?
Hello! Wow, a full day, once again. It's amazing how quickly these days fly. In the morning, we looked at different habitats and the living things that live in each one. This is a lead-in into our conversation regarding animal and plant adaptations. The types of living things in deserts are very different than the ones in oceans... We spent some time this morning finishing our work on area and perimeter challenges. Our enclosures are mostly finished, which will allow MR. V to assess our knowledge of area and perimeter. We'll move into shapes (grade 3s), 3d objects (grade 4s) and symmetry next. In the afternoon, we quickly met the kindies' new additions - ducklings! We were able to see animal lifecycles firsthand, right before our eyes. Some of us even had the ducklings climb on top of us...they are super cute. We'll be finishing up some art tomorrow, and will start a new reading task, as well. NOTE: We've updated the important dates at the bottom of this post. Please have a look. Bye for now. ____________________________________________________ Hello from the GIVE power hour!
